Florida State University College of Social Work is the oldest and most established social work program in Florida with a reputation for offering a balanced and innovative perspective on the development and evolution of the Social Work profession. The training and course of study offered is state of the art and reflects our commitment to community outreach and diversity. As you review our web site, please keep in mind these program highlights:

• In U.S. News & World Report's 2001 Graduate Rankings, the Florida State University College of Social Work ranked in the top 25 among public and private universities, 15th among public universities.

• The College maintains relationships with over 300 social service agencies through Florida and the Southeast, including 18 Veterans Administration agencies to educate students through field instruction. A limited number of students also complete internships abroad.

• The quality of our faculty members is evidenced by the national recognition they have attained through their scholarly contributions and their leadership positions in professional community associations. 

• The College offers assistantships and other forms of financial aid available for qualified students.
