Online & Off-Campus Programs

 

Our Online and Off-Campus programs are very popular with students who cannot come to Tallahassee to participate in their education. Off-Campus programs offer flexibility for working professionals and classes are offered on weekends or evenings. These courses are offered via face to face instruction. Our OnlineMSW program is the first of its kind in the nation. This program allows students to participate in asynchronous instruction via the internet. This means that students can work on their coursework during the part of the day or week that fits their schedule best. Students who complete their degree online are never required to come to Tallahassee during their studies. Many of them do, however, come to graduation so that they can meet the people they have formed relationships with during the course of their studies.

Please be advised that this program is only for students who have earned a BSW from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited Institution OR students interested in transferring from a two-year Traditional CSWE accredited MSW program who have completed their first year of studies to include a generalist field placement AND reside in one of the coverage areas specified in Online MSW Locations.

We also offer the LEAD certificate online. This certificate is designed for social workers that want to sharpen their administrative skills. Please learn more about this certificate program by clicking on the appropriate link.

In addition to the LEAD certificate we offer stand alone graduate courses each semester. These courses can be used to gain CEUs or may be helpful for professionals seeking licensure in Florida.
